This is a prescheduled scan conducted as part of our continued partnership with the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office to keep our students and staff as safe as possible. We appreciate your understanding.
At this time, SDMS is conducting a school safety drill with the HOLD status. There is no emergency at this time; however, all hallways are being cleared, and students and staff will continue instruction. Please understand that access to our school may be limited until the drill is completed. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Today, Stephen Decatur Middle conducted bus evacuation drills. Bus evacuation drills are conducted to ensure the safety of students and staff in the event of an emergency while on the bus. There was no emergency, this was just a drill.
